Kouvolan Wiinijuhlat took customer management to the next level with WisePlatform Event

Finland’s festival summer got a new addition this year when Korian Klubi Oy organized a brand-new event, Kouvolan Wiinijuhlat, in Kuusankoski’s Riverside Park. Ticket sales, marketing, and customer relationship management were all handled with the WisePlatform Event management system.

The Riverside Park will come alive on Friday and Saturday, June 28–29, 2024, when festivalgoers can enjoy a wide variety of drinks and great music: over the course of two days, nine top Finnish artists will take the stage.​​​​​​​


Matti Lindholm – the man behind Kouvolan Wiinijuhlat

Summer in Kymenlaakso kicked off by the Kymijoki river with good music and drinks, as the pop music festival Kouvolan Wiinijuhlat was held for the very first time on Friday and Saturday, June 28–29.2024.

Behind the event is Korian Klubi Oy and its CEO, Matti Lindholm.

Lindholm is best known in the sports world, as he currently works as Sales and Marketing Director for the Liiga ice hockey team Kouvola KooKoo. Previously he served as CEO of the baseball club Joensuun Maila, where he also became familiar with the WisePlatform Event system.

“I already knew Wise’s system and how well it works, so it was a natural choice,” says Lindholm.

“What I particularly like is that everything is in one system: website, ticket sales, customer database, email marketing, and so on. Even the event’s food and beverage sales are run through Wise’s system,” he continues.

Ticket sales off to a flying start – WIP (VIP) tickets already sold out

The response to Kouvolan Wiinijuhlat has been excellent: the event’s WIP tickets sold out already in April. The daily capacity is 4,000 visitors.

“The reception has been absolutely wonderful – thank you to everyone who bought a ticket!” Lindholm says with gratitude.

Over the two days, nine Finnish top artists and bands will perform on stage, including Elastinen, ABREU, Dingo, and Gasellit.

“In short, we offer two days of great food, drinks, and music. The setting in Riverside Park, right next to the impressive Kymijoki River, is a perfect location for a summer festival,” Lindholm concludes.
