WiseGolf clarified communications and supported revenue growth: Case Kytäjä Golf

Kytäjä Golf offers a unique golfing experience in Hyvinkää, amidst the natural beauty of Finnish lake scenery and forested areas. Located just 45 minutes from Helsinki Airport, Kytäjä offers two award-winning courses, South East and North West, both designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Thomas McBroom. The Kytäjä South East course is highly rated, positioned at number 26 in the Top 100 X-factor courses ranking published in the August 2022 issue of Golf World.

Customers also have the option to stay in luxury villas located by the lake near the clubhouse. Additionally, accommodation is available in the newly opened Hotel Törölä.

WiseGolf for practical communication

Since 2021, Kytäjä Golf has been using WiseGolf. CEO Jukka Koivu explains that they turned to WiseGolf because previously all systems were separate, and maintaining information was problematic. When accurate and updated information is available in one system but outdated in another, issues arise. WiseGolf solved this problem.

"As the number of systems increases, they tend to be less in sync, or not on the same page, so to speak. This discrepancy led to numerous human errors due to outdated information," Koivu remarks.

As an example, Koivu mentions issues with shareholder communication, which occurred because the registers in Excel were outdated. Due to the transfer of share ownership, some individuals received messages even though they were no longer shareholders.
"For instance, I received messages from people who reported they hadn't been shareholders for three months, although they had been sent monthly shareholder newsletters. Now our system is up to date, so such confusions are avoided," Koivu shares.

Smooth transition welcomed

The switch to WiseGolf, according to Koivu, went "smoothly". There were no issues with the implementation, and the whole process was seamless. When the WiseGolf app was launched, it worked well on the customer side.

"In golf, change is not seen as an opportunity but rather a necessity, and the general perception is that things were better before," Koivu chuckles. "Fortunately, customers accepted the change quite well. We're talking about hundreds of customers here."

WiseGolf supporting revenue growth

"Based on my experience, I have not once regretted our decision to join. A lot depends on the operator, but for anyone who understands even a bit about the importance of current information or legal information, having all information in one place is a value in itself," Koivu states.
"Over the last 5 years, our revenue has increased by 89 percent," Koivu mentions with satisfaction. “This could lead to the conclusion that WiseGolf has supported our development.”

For Koivu, there are two important features in WiseGolf. "Financial tracking; euros are what I particularly follow. This involves two key areas: the first is real-time monitoring, as I follow cash flow and what's happening financially on a daily basis. The second important part is managing the CRM system and registers, which includes business information, sales tracking, and similar functions. I want all of this to be continuously updated and available online."

"For those working in our office, it's essential that everyone sees the same information in real time. Nowadays, this is an absolute prerequisite if you want to run a business successfully," Koivu concludes.
